embodied creativity

A 3 month online journey | Begins January 12

your creativity as an embodied experience of freedom

As artists our entire being is our instrument.

For our creativity to move through us openly and freely, we have to dismantle the conditioning that keeps us in our habitual ways of being.

Embodied Creativity is a commitment to surrender to your own creative intelligence. Over three months, you’ll be empowered to step into your purpose as an artist and devote yourself to your creative practice. Held in a tangible field of love that invites you to refine your creative expression, unblock what has been distorting your potential, and share your work with the world.

Deeper embodiment of your creativity comes through feeling. I will work with you directly to strengthen your capacity to feel, and give you honest feedback as you develop your work and inhabit your performances more fully.

The central invitation of this journey is simple: create from the intelligence of your own heart. So that your work becomes more real, honest, and distinctly your own.

This opportunity is for devoted creatives who are striving for excellence, and who recognise that within them lies the power to make a significant impact on the world through their art.

Testimonials

It’s hard to fully convey what this journey was for me. True to the spirit of creation, it took many forms - at times a laboratory, a stage, a holy playground.

The rules of the game grew as we grew, organically. Always asking: “how can we better hold the life that is here?”

Art flowed out: poetry, songs, films, all with a quality of natural emergence. The container was also deeply relational, and healing. My favourite art was what we made each week in the living moments.

Allegra held the space like a masterful conductor. This is her lifeblood, and it’s felt.

You don’t need to think yourself an artist. I didn’t. Nothing is required except a beating heart and a willingness to jump.

If I had to distill it down to one central word, it is PERMISSION.

Over 3 months, this became a container, a play space, a refuge, where Allegra and my castmates held safety and allowed permission for me to explore and, just, "BE" - be curious, be tired, be tickled, be confronted, be seductive, be connected, be isolated, be ANYTHING that is truthful in the moment...

Through this, I learnt viscerally that truly authentic creativity can only flow from a truthful, judgment-free place.

I’m so thankful for Allegra dreaming Embodied Creativity into existence, it has been, without exaggeration, one of the transformational experiences of my life.

About me

I’ve been an artist my whole life, and an actor for over a decade. In that time I learned to perform emotional intimacy, and to place that gift in the hands of other people’s dreams. I cultivated an ability to embody every part of humanity, from the darkest and most haunted to the most vulnerable and fragile. But within all that digging deep, I was leaving something precious behind...

Somewhere along the way I lost touch with my own creativity. I had to learn how to give my body, my psyche and my energy to my own creative purpose again, and to rediscover creative expression as a real, tangible path to my own nourishment, freedom and aliveness.

This journey has given me a deep respect for two worlds: the life of a performing artist in the industry, and the path of inner work and healing. In each, I have felt something missing: a space alive and dynamic enough to hold the actual creativity of the people practicing it.

So I began building a space that entwines the two. My work as an artist and facilitator begins in the heart, through feeling and the body, because that’s where I’ve found creativity becomes true. When an artist can feel what’s actually there, their work becomes more honest and more distinctly their own.

And if you don’t identify as an artist, the invitation is the same. There comes a time on every healing path when the search for answers has to be surrendered, as you begin to realise you are a part of something larger. Creativity here is not self-improvement. It is participation.

Embodied Creativity is an ode to everything that has guided me to freedom, creativity and expression, and space to find your own way there.
